NEC Digital Governance & Office Modernization Project
The project is designed to improve the overall operational efficiency of the Office of National Executive Council through the use of ICT tools, so that it can prudently support the NEC and the Prime Minister as Chairman on all matters pertaining to the business of the NEC, in a timely and secure manner as required.
The project aligns with Strategic Priority Area 8 (SPA 8) of the Medium-Term Development Plan IV (MTDP IV), titled 'Digital Government, National Statistics and Public Service Governance'. It supports the government agenda in implementing public service administration reforms to achieve efficiency, productivity, and strengthened service delivery. It aims to digitize the core executive processes of government through a secure and centralized NEC submission and tracking system, and to enhance transparency, decision-tracking, and institutional accountability.
